Physics of Value
The Ethics Stack
The Physics of Value
Entropy is the inevitable tide. Sentience is the swimmer. Ethics is the stroke we use to keep our heads above water.

The Four Layers
Each layer builds on the previous, creating a complete ethical architecture.

The Copernican Axiom
"We are not special observers. Any valid ethical framework must work from any perspective in the cosmos."
Just as Copernicus removed Earth from the center of the universe, this axiom removes humanity from the center of moral consideration. If an alien species with equivalent sentience capacity existed, they would have equivalent moral weight. The framework is universal, not anthropocentric.
The Bottom Line
Ethics is not arbitrary. It is not relative. It is the physics of how sentient systems survive and flourish in an entropic universe.
